I purchased the Gold Magic a few years ago (model 12E). It does exactly what it is advertised do! I sold my Sluthe and now use the Gold Magic only. It is a lot faster, also when you splash water into the cup then stop the Gold Magic, you can pour your clean gold right into your vile, turn Gold magic on and continue processing your material.
